Hunemiller Christmas Party

Hunemiller Christmas Party

The first weekend in December, we loaded up the kids and went up to Boise to see my Dad's side of the family. We haven't been up to Boise in about a year since my dad has started spending spring, summer, and fall in Angel Fire New Mexico. We were very busy making ornaments for his tree, picking out a Christmas tree, going to the annual family party and even making a surprised visit to the ER. We had a really great time spending time with Grandpa Hunemiller and Niki. We had a nice time seeing my aunts, uncles and many cousins. Grams and Gramps actually paid for the party this year. They both have long since passed away, but funds from an oil stock keep coming to the trust fund. Lucky us! The trip to the ER lead to a night in the hospital for my Dad, which was the first time he has ever been in the hospital in all of his 63 young years. He is doing much better and he seems to really like his doctor. I will not go into detail but I will say thank goodness for yearly check-ups, and people who are dedicated to patient care. Merry Christmas everybody!

Christmas Concert

Rising Stars Christmas Concert

This past weekend the boys entertained us with thier annual Rising Stars Christmas concert. They were so dang handsome. Honestly, they are easy to find in the pictures because they are the most handsome boys on the entire stage! We had a fun time watching them dance and sing. Even Cameron enjoyed the concert this year!

Grandpa & Grandma go to MTC

Today we drove Elder and Sister Whitehead to the MTC (Missionary Training Center). I guess you could say this is the first day of their mission to the West Indies as Humanitarian Missionaries. from what I understand they will be at the MTC for roughly 10 days, then fly to the Dominican Republic MTC for additional training. After that is completed they will travel to the country of Guyana (just east of Venezuela) and officially begin! I've included a picture of our experience today, if you are craving mo9re please check out their blog (link toward the top of this page). Both Cameron and I are so excited for them! We know that they as well as our family will truly be blessed for their sacrifice and hard work. Personally I have never felt the spirit so strong as I have since they received their call. I'll try and keep you up to date. While I do that, encourage your own parents and in-laws to go on a mission!
