CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!

OK, I did not wait that long to go outside and get some pictures of our lights. Personally, I think that they look pretty good. Heck, our Christmas lights are on and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. I do it all for the love of the season!

You better watch out! You better not cry. You better not pout, I'm telling you why. The Whitehead's are coming to town.

Actually, this does not even compare with Preston's festival of lights. However, we are the current holders of the most lights on display down our street. YES!!!

Getting Ready For Christmas

I finished decorating the outside of our house for the holidays this past weekend. Yea! As soon as I find the time I will take a picture of my master piece for all of you to see. Currently I am updating and decorating my blog for the holidays as well. I just love Christmas don't you?

Spooky!!

Here is a tid-bit of our Halloween fun! Our good friend Jake Sorensen handed out candy and talked to the trick-or treaters about good oral hygiene. The children made out like bandits with arm loads of candy. (For those of you who don't know: You can double click on a picture and it will enlarge on your screen. (Thought you'd like to know Mom!))

Halloween Night

Is this not the coolest thing you have ever seen on Halloween? We were just getting ready to leave the trunk-or-treat in Lewiston when this beautiful headless horseman and his horse trotted into the parting lot. I say beautiful because this horse and his master were not the least bit scary, but down right georgous and amazing to look at. I bet you can not top this headless horesman!

Pumpkin Carving

This year we got smart since the weather has been fantastic and carved pumpkins out on the back patio. Our pumpkins turned out so cute (oh ...maybe I should say scary). The children had a good time carving (well I carved them) drawing their faces on the pumpkins and pulling out their guts. I think Cameron had a pretty good time as well. His pumpkin is the one that says "Boo". This year Caden will be a pirate, Braken will be Dracula, Brenna is a cheerleader, and dog darling is a witch. We are going to a ward party tonight so it will be the first of many costume parties, I think Brenna has been to three already. Have a SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!!!

Caden & Braken - Football 08'

Caden & Braken started flag football this fall in Smithfield. They have absolutely loved playing and learning the game. During one game Braken ran a 50 yard touchdown. He was so excited that he could hardly stand himself. He kept asking everyone on the sidelines, "Did you know that I made that touchdown?" (over and over again). Caden became an excellent safety and good reciever as well. By the last few games he was pulling off just about everyones flag. (If you had the football that is.) Cameron was so excited to see his boys play that he helped out with coaching every practice. He must feel like he is in his element coaching football, because he really got in to it! Fall 08'

Finally we found the time to take some family pictures with Karlie included. It only took us a year and a half but we made it. Cameron's parentsare going on a mission to the West Indies on December 1st, and I thought this would be a great way for them to keep up with the ongoings of our small family. Since I am new to this blog stuff please be patient. I'm hoping to get a few things figured out soon.
A few weeks ago I took the children up Strawberry Canyon and took some fallish pictures. The kids had a great time! we barely made it back before the first snow of the year began to fall. While hiking around we found some interesting deer legs? Why would there be only two deer legs perfectly cut off and discarded? Where were the other two my children wanted to know. I'm not a hunter and had absolutely no idea why those legs were there, but the children thought they were "gross" and "cool". Enjoy the wonderful weather while it lasts!
